Quick Guide on Viewing data in My Data

Written by Maddie Wolfe

Overview

My Data is a great place to go to view all of your data in an excel-type format. Besides viewing your data, you can primarily use this area to Import and Export Data. Depending on your permission level you may not have access to My Data. Should you need access to the features within My Data please contact your point of contact or account manager here at Buxton. Access My Data by going to the tab along the top bar of SCOUT.

Data Types

Data types are organized into five categories (depending on your setup) that you can also view on the map view.

Locations - This section allows you to visualize your locations all together or by type. It is important to note that if you utilize life cycles, the life cycle locations have been rolled into the types they will belong to in the future.
Territories/Custom Polygons - This section allows you to visualize your territories by type, with or without collaborate.
Pushpins - This section allows you to visualize your pushpins by type, with or without collaborate.
Results - This section allows you to visualize your result layers. This is separated out by point based data and geography based data.
Areas of Interest - This section allows you to both visualize and edit your areas of interest data. This is separated out by point based data and geography based data.

You are able to collapse and expand this menu using the arrow button. This will give you more space on the data view pane. You also have a collaborate option built in to the territories an pushpins sections. Review this article to understand how collaborate works.
