Pre-set geofences around Mobilytics Places

Written by Maddie Wolfe

Overview

The Mobilytics Places layers are based on point and polygon data. The layers are located under the ‘Buxton Data’ section, which is accessible with your Mobilytics subscription.

Using the Layers

Mobilytics Places layers are organized by category, subcategory, and brand.

To display location data on the map, left click the checkbox next to the relevant layer. There are two options for navigating to specific layers:

  1. Navigate to the category, then select the sub-category

  1. Search within this section to quickly find the data you want to view

When you left-click on the logo on the map, you will see the address and the option to select ‘More.’

Selecting ‘More’ from the info window provides additional options, such as running the Mobilytics report or viewing detailed information about the site.

The menu will show estimated visits and visitor numbers. It will also indicate how a particular location, such as a Chili's, ranks among all Chili's locations in our places polygon database.

To view the geofence associated with a point of interest, right-click on the point.

Once the geofence is displayed, left-click to generate a Mobilytics report or right-click to create a new report.
