The map in SCOUT is powered through our partnership with Google Maps, and designed to be highly intuitive and easy to use.
Moving Around on the Map
To move around the map, hold a left click on your mouse and drag the map to directionally move around on the map.
Interacting on the Map
To interact with anything in or on the map, simply left or right click on your mouse depending on which options you need on the location or object and you will see a small window appear with list of actions you can do.
NOTE: Some options might be grayed out, because your current user status does not allow you that action/feature.
Zooming In and Out
To zoom in our out on the map, you can use you mouse's scroll wheel (move it forward to zoom in and backward to zoom out). You can also use the the "+" and "-" keys on your keyboard or the feature on the bottom right-hand corner of your screen, where you can click on the plus and minus signs to change how much is seen on your screen.
