"Competition Cotenants" or "Saved Businesses" allows you to save your own custom lists fueled by the Buxton Data > Businesses section. Keep in mind while any user in your organization can lookup and view these businesses, only admin users are able to create groups and save them into your specific section for the team.
Add Additional Businesses to Competition Cotenants / Saved Businesses
Our standard process is to load any businesses that are effecting any custom work (model or otherwise) we have built for you. Even if you do not have any custom reporting, you can also save off businesses for later use. *Note that this will not affect any standard reports and can only be added as visual aids.
From the left hand menu area select the "Businesses" group:
In the search bar, type in the business you would like saved (In this example we will use Target). From here you will select the gear wheel next to the business you'd like to save
Once the gear wheel is selected, fill out the interface to choose where to save your business type. Once you have this menu filled out your business will be added to the group of your choice.
Type - Choose which tab to place your business into. The options might be different by the industry you are in.
Group - Choose which group to place your business into. We will review the process on how to add groups below.
Create/Edit/Delete Saved Businesses Groups
To add a new group select the option on the bottom of the tab and create a new one
You can also rename or delete competition/cotenant groups from selecting the gearwheel icon found beside the group name.
