The "Ruler Tool" can be found along the toolbar on the right hand side of the map and allows you to view the following:

Once activated on the map, you can move the ruler around by dragging it on the map. You can also manipulate the drive time directions and ring size by dragging the end point around.

Once you have the ruler where you want it, left click within the shaded region to view the info. Select the more button to review helpful data:

Using the hover you can also receive additional demographic data from the designated ruler circumference:

Expansion of the ruler tool options in Active Items allows for toggling off separate features and the manipulation of the data shown in the hover of the ruler tool. This is also where you can remove the ruler tool.

Mode - Toggle the ruler into a static ring (used for taking screenshots).
​Measurement - Toggle between Miles and Kilometers.
​Display - Remove the driving directions or the circle from the map.
​Travel Mode - Updates the first page on the info window to show different time calculations based on the option chosen. The available options are Driving (default), Transit, Walking, and Cycling.
​Color - Updates the color of the ring using the slider or clicking into the square to update to a specific color.
​Opacity - Updates the opacity of the ring.
