Access the Knowledge Base and Segmentation Guide

Overview

SCOUT provides direct access to additional learning resources that can help you understand platform functionality and the data available for your analysis. These resources include the Knowledge Base and Segmentation Guide.

Both resources are available with your access to the Buxton Platform and do not require separate login credentials.

To locate these resources, select your profile icon in the upper-right corner of the platform and navigate to User Settings.

Knowledge Base

The Knowledge Base provides articles and guides to help you understand and use functionality throughout the Buxton Platform. Content is organized around platform features and workflows so you can find information relevant to the area of SCOUT you're working in.

In addition to accessing the Knowledge Base through User Settings, you can open relevant articles directly from within SCOUT.

Access Knowledge Base Articles in SCOUT

Quick links to Knowledge Base articles are available throughout the platform. When you see a help or information icon associated with a feature, select it to view additional information and access related documentation.

These contextual links allow you to find documentation related to the feature you're currently using without having to manually search the Knowledge Base.

Access the Knowledge Base Through Chat

You can also find Knowledge Base content using the Chat feature in SCOUT.

Open the Chat window and select Search for Help to search for relevant support content while continuing to work within the platform.

Segmentation Guide

The Segmentation Guide provides additional information about the demographic and psychographic characteristics represented within available segmentation data.

Use the guide when you need more context about individual segments or want to better understand the characteristics associated with the segmentation data available for your analysis.
