Expanded the fields when adding a new location from the map to give the user the

opportunity to enter square footage

This premium report allows users to run a standardized healthcare model on a location based on our sample set or by selecting your own sample set. No outside data is required for these models.

Import feature has been updated to allow you to overwrite an existing location type with new location data. You can also add in brand new layers of location type data. This feature is assigned at the user level upon request.

Census tracts added to the platform, with tool tips. 

Ability to default your search option.

Updates have been made to coincide with Experian updates. Tool tips have also been added to each segment layer.

Customer Heatmap functionality has been re-written to operate faster and more effectively at lower zoom levels. Actual Customers will no longer limit the number of dots shown.

Layers surrounding the COVID-19 outbreak have been added to the Buxton Data Boundary section. These now include updates as well as tool tips.

Community clients can now view GPS customers tied directly back to sites.

Portfolio audit now with updated axis and supports Canadian regions.

Improvements have been made behind the scenes to enable the household analysis for speed and larger geographies.

Buxton now uses a third party to authenticate and secure your login information for improved security. This includes the ability to use Multi-factor authentication.

Portfolio audit now supports the structure for Benchmark Models. 

SCOUT now supports additional international data like drive times and grid thematics in additional countries.

This will allow you to bookmark the SCOUT login page.

Tours of new products as you begin to use them in the platform are now available. 

New feature allowing you to view top and bottom performers are well as monthly sales/visits chart. 

Options to have a default drive time/ring, ability to remove the drive time from toggling when you explore a site, print options, and more

Section to show your account team contacts and letting you know who to contact to best help serve your needs.

Based on data, many users were logging in to the dashboard and immediately selecting SCOUT. With this new design you will be taken straight to the map.

My Data will be located on the banner and it has been redesigned with an updated look and feel. There is some new functionality as well as a clean up of bugs. You can now seamlessly import data and toggle between My Data and the Map view.

There will now be a select all checkbox as you've continued to grow with multiple life cycle stages.

We improved our options to include filters for the directional data. This will allow you to see values if they are geocoded to the same location.

Bookmark's tab now has a search option for you to easily navigate bookmarks. Franchisee users will now have access to bookmarking their map view. 

Users can now report incorrect location data to Buxton for Points of Interest and Businesses.

Community reports are now more easily distinguished between each other via relevant icons.

Colors are now customizable.

Business logos have been made more robust and consistent throughout the Platform.

Search results for locations has been made more intelligent returning a ranked list.
The list is ranked in this order: location number, location name, then all other fields.

Admin users can restrict pushpin types for Admins only.

New Tool Tips added to the Healthcare section of the left navigation.

Customers can now be viewed outside of specific locations from the left navigation.

Territories and Areas of Interest Thematics can now be viewed using a single color.

Points of Interest tooltips are now available for Retail Centers and Traffic Counts.
Some items provide links to the Buxton Knowledge Base or a direct link to email Support.

Introduced the ability to restore recently removed items via an undo option (available up to last 10 items).
All Analysis Tools and Exploring points are now placed in Active Items.

Admin users given the ability to restrict edit / view rights to specific Territory types.
Territories no longer have 500 point limit - however, the shape of these polygons will not be editable.
Territories can be made off drive-times.
Added the ability to add a territory on top of another territory (applies to all polygons such as drive-times).

Collaborate settings and the position of the drive-time color slider are remembered.
If a session expires, the user is notified and prompted to log back in - after which, they are given the option to restore their lost session.

To enhance user experience and performance, the ability to pause or resume automatic loading of data is introduced via a Manual Refresh button.

Infinite scroll introduced to improve user experience and performance.

Ability to close individual maps added (instead of having to cycle through maps).

Areas of Interest and Result point layer additional information displayed can now be controlled in My Data through importing.

Location labels have been enhanced to allow more options and control.

Added the ability to toggle between ring and ruler.

Search results for Pushpins and Territories will now return based off the collaborate setting for those areas.

The Mosaic Segmentation guide can now be accessed through the user menu.

Each user now has the ability to manage their own profile information (user name, first / last name, email, and password).
The Buxton main website contains a forgot password link.

Tooltips have been introduced for health care data.

Exploring a geography displays the geography name on the Explore menu.

Pushpin comments can be viewed from an info window.
Users can now add a pushpin type while adding a new pushpin.

The ability to favorite, edit, and otherwise manage types has been consolidated to a gear-wheel menu to allow for more options.

Drive-time and ring titles in Active Items will now display the name of the point it was run from.

Territory, Pushpin, and Location types can now be grouped.

Thematics will now show block-level value on click.
Thematic vs. Dot Density options have been improved.

Admin users can now assign individual locations and territories to Franchise users.

Exploring a Location or Geography now returns a 'Word Cloud' of information about the demographics of that area.

Users are now able to upload a file to a point with their mobile device.

The name of a Location Type can now be customized.
The image of a Location Type can now be customized or reset to a Buxton default.
Locations on the map in SCOUT can be long left-clicked and relocated.
A Location's information can be edited by right-clicking and choosing 'Edit Location'.

Release notes for the Buxton Platform are now featured on the dashboard menu.
Users are now able to submit feedback on Platform Features through the dashboard menu.

Users can now input store numbers into the STORES portion of the search to more easily find stores.

Competitor / Cotenant groups now have the right-click option to show or hide all businesses within them.

Location Types can now be filtered with a search box.

For Areas of Interest or Results, thematic boxes are now checked by default if the geography has a data value associated with it.

Small Info Windows now display store numbers.
Info Window tails are pinned by default.

The dialog for choosing the columns to be displayed on Info Windows has a new style. The dialog for Google's Nearby feature has a new style.

Territory Type colors are now displayed beside the Type helping to better distinguish Types.

Heatmaps will now not dissipate on zoom or change depending on view port (map location) allowing for a more complete and comprehensive representation.
Heatmaps now have gradients to choose from under Active Items instead of having to randomize the color.

Users now have the ability to group similar competitors or cotenants together.
New groups can be created by clicking the "+" at the top next to the Competitors & Cotenants header.

Users now have the ability to attach files to individual locations (photos, lease documents, etc.).
Right click on a location and select Browse Files. Select the destination folder and then Manual Upload.
​Note: existing files from SCOUT 3 cannot be migrated over in mass, only file by file.

The standard traffic that was in SCOUT 3 is now in SCOUT 4.
Gives insight into average daily traffic volumes.
Standard Traffic is located in Buxton Data / Points of Interest / Traffic Counts.

Daypart Traffic allows users to select the timeframe (in one-hour increments) for which traffic counts are measured.
This allows concepts that are specifically interested in traffic volumes at certain times of day to see these details instead of the average daily traffic count.
Daypart Traffic is a paid feature that is included in some, but not all packages.
It can be accessed through the Buxton Data / Points of Interest / Traffic Counts.

Users now have the ability to toggle display labels and values on/off.
To toggle labels or values on or off, go to Active Items and click on the ¿>¿ which then reveals the toggle options beneath it.
Not all items have display value or values. If these are not present, no effect will be seen when they are turned on or off.

Info windows now display in both large and smaller sizes.
Initially, the smaller info window appears, and the larger info window can be activated by clicking the pair of arrows icon in the small info window.
Larger info windows will display POI information (e.g. Undergrad Enrollment, Total Enrollment, etc.) if available for that point.

A link now appears on SCOUT's mobile website that will allow users to visit the desktop version of SCOUT on their mobile device if desired.
By default, the mobile environment will open when using a smart phone or tablet.
Mainly for tablet users - this is NOT recommended on smart phones.

Based on a value input, users can now see their territory as a thematic.
The territory color will reflect the value that was input by the user.

The contextual click (right click) has been condensed to provide more options while keeping a maintainable size.

Returns the top 25 businesses in map area instead of only one return.
Can still be used for individual address search.

Reports have been simplified to allow for an easier user experience when submitting.

Pushpins must now be moved with a long left click first (previously these could even be accidentally moved).

Users now have the ability to order their locations as they desire to see them in the View Tree via drag and drop.

Users now have the ability to add geographies to individual locations via the contextual click (right click).
