Please note that this section is intended for point based layers located under Buxton data. If there is an issue with your company data please contact your administrator or your Buxton account management team.
Reporting incorrect or missing location data in SCOUT is seamless and easy. Populating this data will help us better the platform and experience for all users. This feedback may be reported on any area of the map, points of interest or business layer in SCOUT.
Missing Place Report
Right click an area on the map where something is missing and select, “Report Incorrect Location” to launch the location data report panel.
Fill out the required fields:
Which data is missing – What is missing/incorrect? This field will populate your current active items layers that happen to be a point of interest or business. If the business or type of data you wish to report on is missing, select “Other”.
Specify ‘Other’ – Search our point of interest and business data to find what it is you wish to report on.
Notes – Any additional information that may help us better understand the report. For example, “A Walmart Supercenter opened at this location just over a month ago.”
Wrong Location/Location Doesn’t Exist Report
Right click any point of interest or business layer icon and select, “Report Incorrect Location” to launch the location data report panel. Fill out the required fields:
What’s the issue – Did the location close? Is the location in the wrong spot?
Notes – Any additional information that may help us better understand the report. For example, "This location is categorized incorrectly. It is actually defined as a Neighborhood Center."
