When running these reports, best practice is to create a specific, searchable title for the area being evaluated, selecting the specific report required.
Contents:
Hospitals: This output measures the number of hospitals within the selected geography, by type. The first section of the report will provide a quick summary of each type, while the following pages will include a breakdown of addresses as well as their provider and bed count.
Healthcare Facilities Report: This output measures the number of healthcare facilities within the geography being studied by group and type. The first section will provide a quick summary of each type, while the following pages will include a breakdown of addresses as well as their provider and bed count, where applicable. The provider count is based on the provider’s primary location only.
Medical Providers Report: This output measures the number of providers within the trade area based on their licensed specialty. Variances between this report and the facilities report provider counts are expected due to physician licensing versus practicing. For example, a physician licensed in Internal Medicine may be practicing as a hospital-based physician and not a Primary Care clinic physician.
