This report estimates where procedures originate within the geography being analyzed. Procedures for multiple medical specialties may be performed in a single setting, like an Ambulatory Surgical Center.
When running this report, the best practice is to create a specific, searchable title for the area being evaluated.

The report helps us understand the projected volume of outpatient procedures, compared to larger geographies around the area being evaluated. The index value is relative to the entire country, where 100 is average.
To read this report, we recommend reviewing the indices right to left. In the example below the Diagnostic Imaging outpatient procedures national index is 100 (average), while the state is 73, county is 70, and the site is 67 (based on the 15-minute drive time). For this site, the index of 67 indicates demand is 33% below the national average.
This report includes outpatient procedures estimates for both Current Year and Five-Year projections.
